Kurse und Workshops für Kinder
"Mit der Kunst wachsen" und die eigenen Fähigkeiten entwickeln! Die Freude am praktischen Tun und Begreifen steht dabei im Vordergrund. In den Kunstkursen für Kinder wird gemalt, gezeichnet und modelliert, dabei lernen die Kinder alle Grundtechniken der bildenden Kunst kennen. Sie werden angeleitet, ihre unmittelbare Umgebung sensibel wahrzunehmen und bildnerisch umzusetzen. Gesehenes und Erlebtes wird gestaltend verarbeitet, räumliche Strukturen differenziert. Es gilt, die Vorstellungskraft der Kinder anzuregen und gleichzeitig in kreative Formen zu lenken.
Die Kurse sind fortlaufend gedacht, können jedoch einzeln gebucht werden. Die Inhalte werden den Altersstufen angepasst und reichen von einfachen Zeichen- und Malübungen bis zur Ausführung ästhetischer Vorgaben und Umsetzung eigener Ideen. Für spannende Themen sorgen die Dozenten.
Die Kinder arbeiten auf großformatigem Papier am Tisch oder an der Staffelei und verwenden neben wasserlöslichen Gouachefarben auch Acryl sowie Bleistifte, Kohle und Kreiden. Aus Ton, Pappmaché und anderen Materialien modellieren sie bunte Reliefs oder phantastische Objekte. Bei schönem Wetter arbeiten die Kursteilnehmer – wie die Maler der ehemaligen Künstlerkolonie – mitunter auch im Freien.
Courses and workshops for children
“Growing with art“ and developing inherent skills! The courses focus on deriving enjoyment and developing an understanding of art through hands-on creative work. Art courses for children include painting, drawing, and molding, introducing the children to all the basic techniques of fine art. They will learn how to develop a sensitive eye for their immediate surroundings and how to reproduce them in images. What is seen and what is experienced is processed by creative means, differentiating three-dimensional structures and patterns. The objective is to stimulate the children‘s imagination and at the same time direct it into creative forms of expression.
While the courses are designed to be continuous, they can also be booked individually. The topics are age-dependent, ranging from simple painting and drawing exercises to the execution of aesthetic criteria and the implementation of the participants’ own concepts. The art instructors have a wealth of fascinating topics at the ready.
The children work with large paper formats at tables or easels, using water-based gouache as well as acrylic paints, pencils, charcoal, and chalk. Using clay, paper mâché and other materials, they craft colorful reliefs or objects of fantasy. Weather permitting, the course participants may occasionally take their work outdoors – as did the painters of the former artists‘ colony.
Kurse für Erwachsene
Die Kunstschule Kronberg bietet Raum zur Entwicklung des kreativen Potentials, das in jedem Menschen steckt. Ob Kurse für Kinder oder Erwachsene, Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittene: Die künstlerische Entfaltung der Kursteilnehmer zu fördern und zu unterstützen ist unser Ziel. Gegründet in der Tradition der Künstlerkolonie, die Maler aus Frankfurt in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts hier gebildet hatten, knüpft neben dem "Museum Kronberger Malerkolonie" so auch die Kunstschule an dieses Kulturerbe an. Die Dozentinnen und Dozenten sind selbst freischaffende Künstler aus Frankfurt und der Rhein-Main-Region.
Courses for adults
The art school Kunstschule Kronberg provides opportunities to develop the creative potential inherent in every person. It is our aim to promote and support the artistic development of the participants, be it courses for children or adults, beginners, or the more experienced artist. The Kunstschule was founded in the tradition of the artists‘ colony, established by painters from Frankfurt in the middle of the 19th century, and ties in with this cultural heritage as does the “Museum Kronberger Malerkolonie“ (Kronberg Artists‘ Colony Museum). The art instructors themselves are freelance artists from Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main area.
